PA-24 / 30 / 39 Rudder Gap Seal Kit. The Rudder Gap Seal is very beneficial to the Single and Twin Comanches. Originally introduced for the Twin Comanche by Piper in 1971 to increase rudder authority and lower Vmc on twins, KNOTS 2U has improved the design and made it available for all Comanches. With the decrease in trim drag it will add 1-1.5 mph in cruise speed. Rudder authority is improved on all aircraft and a lowered Vmc is reported on twins!
